Learning to Better Care For Your Infant

As a new parent or even a second or third timer, there are so many concerns when it comes to the health and well being of your infant. Everything seems to raise a question. What are those bumps on their face? Should they be sleeping this long? Does my new baby need a bath everyday? The list can go on and on when it comes to the needs and necessities of your baby.

Just remember that every baby is different, so what may have worked for your first child or for your friends child, may not be right for your newborn. A great tip for newborns, especially for first time parents, is to follow your instincts! We have all heard the saying, "Mommy Knows Best".

Write down all the questions you have and when it's time for your next well baby check up, bring your list and go over any ot these concerns with your doctor, midwife or other health-care professional you may seek advice from. Of course if there is an urgent matter call your pediatrician or health care provider right away!

Read through our HB articles below to find answers to many common newborn questions.
